Nvrmore privacy policy
Effective November 1, 2026
Nvrmore collects no data. It talks only to your NVR, on your home network, and keeps your login on your Apple TV.
What Nvrmore is
Nvrmore is an Apple TV app that shows live video from a Reolink network video recorder (NVR) on your home network. It only watches: it never changes a setting on the NVR or a camera.
What stays on your Apple TV
- Your NVR password is kept in the Apple TV's Keychain.
- The NVR's address and user name, and your choices in Settings (which cameras to show, SD or HD, the cameras in the view, Keep screen on and Kiosk mode), are kept in the app's settings on the Apple TV.
- The NVR's security certificate fingerprint is kept there too, so the app notices if a different device answers at that address.
- Video and snapshots are shown and then discarded. Nvrmore does not record or save them.
Deleting the app deletes its settings. The password can stay in the Apple TV's Keychain after that; if you install Nvrmore again, setup asks for the login again and replaces it.
What Nvrmore sends, and where
- To your NVR only: your login, requests for the camera list, battery levels and snapshots, and the live video streams. These go over your home network.
- During setup, to find the NVR, the app opens a secure connection to port 443 of each address on your home network and reads only its certificate. It sends no request and no login to those devices. tvOS asks your permission first (Local Network access).
Nvrmore does not contact any server of ours or anyone else's. It contains no analytics, advertising, tracking or crash-reporting code.
Apple
If you choose to share analytics or crash reports with app developers in your Apple TV's settings, Apple may pass crash reports for Nvrmore to us. They contain technical details about the crash, not your video or your login. Apple's privacy policy covers what Apple collects.
This website
This policy is about the app. These pages have no analytics or advertising. Cloudflare serves them and, to block bots and spam, may log your IP address, run a small security script and set a security cookie. Cloudflare's privacy policy covers that.
Children
Nvrmore collects no personal information from anyone, including children.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version will appear on this page with a new effective date.
